Bow Fiddle Rock

Bow Fiddle Rock

Located in the village of Portknockie, Bow Fiddle Rock stands proud. A fantastic rock formation that gets its name because it is the same shape as the tip of a violin bow. The eroded structure came to be, after the ancient continents of Laurentia and Avalonia collided during the Caledonian Orogeny over 1000 years ago!
